Wood Wizards is operated by its owner, Michael Toomey, who brings over 20 years experience in the timber industry. Having grown up in Woombye on the Sunshine Coast, Michael Toomey is passionate about providing excellence to those residing and building in his beloved region.

As a qualified Wood Machinist, he is not only qualified to install, sand and polish but can also manufacture skirting boards and architraves to match your already existing timber floor.

Michael and his professional team also have extensive knowledge of timber drying methods, timber grading and species.

The Wood Wizards team can manufacture timber floor boards to match any specifications. This means that they’re especially experienced in identification of timber species including their usage and specifications, strength and durability.

This is particularly useful when repairing or extending older floors where sizes are difficult to obtain.

That’s right, Wood Wizards are also qualified to mill timber logs into building timbers or slabs.

Floor boards can even be machined to the shape and size you want!
