Yes we can assist you with all of your timber needs.
Generally no. Timber flooring installers use specialist nail guns, adhesives etc, some of which are not available to the public. Moisture barrier systems need to be put in place by experts especially when laying over concrete. Pre finished flooring though can easily be installed using a DIY system. We are also happy to install any good quality flooring you have purchased elsewhere
Generally not. Surprisingly most species of timber regardless of colour match one another. If you would like matching interiors Wood Wizards can manufacture these items for you. Timber stair cases can be overlaid with the same timber flooring used in your home and can be laid, sanded and polished at the same time as your floor.
A newly finished floor may be walked upon after initial drying but some precautions are necessary until the coating system has fully hardened and this may take in the order of two weeks. It is recommended not to lay rugs on your floor during this period. Furniture protection pads should be attached to the feet of tables and chairs etc and furniture such as chairs should be lifted. Ensure that heavy items cush as fridges are moved carefully into position and at no time should they be dragged over either newly finished or fully cured floors. Furniture with castor wheels will also damage your floor over time.
